The second edition of the Protective BIKE Four Peaks is once again a highlight in the racing calendar of the toMotion Racing by black tusk team which will enter the four-day event with almost a dozen athletes of its more than 100 team members – all ready to tackle the 275 km and more than 9,000 metres in elevation gain.
The semi-professional team Centurion Vaude has officially named its roster for 2014 in Ravensburg. The Meckenbeuren based squad also revealed a brand new dress during the team presentation. The well-known Orange will be replaced by Black with red stripes.
Ever since the Trans Germany, fi'zi:k has been a reliable official partner of the event. In the meanwhile, the best climbing classification has become firmly established because of our presenter.
Even better that the Italians provide the best equipment to make it atop of a mountain.
Saalfelden Leogang, host of this year's Protective BIKE Four Peaks start, is more or less wrapping up its winter season and has thus started to prepare for the business during summer months. Accordingly, the local tourism experts offer two packages which remain valid from beginning of May till beginning of October. Both deals address mountain bikers who are keen to stay for a weekend or a whole week in this beautiful holiday region – especially if they are ready to tackle the well-known bike park or work on their riding technique.

This year's Protective BIKE Four Peaks not only comes up with a revised stage set-up and overall routing from Leogang to Kaprun in Austria but also with one additional category for the popular mountain bike stage race. From June 4 thru 7, 2014, each of the four stages will host an Enduro-Challenge.
Race Director Marc Schneider didn't take it easy over the last winter months but kept on working on the stages of the 2014 Protective BIKE Four Peaks – with success. As from today, revised stage profiles are online. They now include the missing information on where the daily refreshment stations will be located.

Due to the completion of a small forest road the general route net of the Lofer area is now not only richer by one tour but with additional routes in the whole Saalach valley almost 1,000 km long.
Sportograf.com takes care for the photographic welfare of the participants. The Sportografs are also mountain biker and will be equipped with the most modern cameras. They find the best spots of the race and provide a permanent memory. A simple look on the bare numbers quickly shows why the region of the Kitzbüheler Alps – Brixental was awarded first and thus with good reason as 'Approved Bike Region'. With more than 200 km of sign-posted tracks varying in difficulty and about some 9,750 metres in elevation gate the surrounding area of Protective BIKE Four Peaks stage town Kirchberg thrills mountain bikers of whatsoever riding level.
